First Friday: Back to School

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2010. As our children start a new year at school or college, pray for them and the specific institutions they attend. May they have aptitude for every kind of learning. Pray for their teachers and principals by name when possible. May they come to honor our Judeo-Christian foundations and the history of America and the greatness of our founding fathers. May the angels protect our children and may God give them wisdom and success all year long.

Is. 54:13 “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.”
Psalm 127:3 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.”
