Declaring God's Promises in 2008!

As we stand on the wall together in prayer and fasting for our nation, I encourage you to look to the Word of God and not be swayed by the reports of the media nor by your circumstances. I believe that this year we are going to see the Church arise as never before, and I believe God wants to give us victory.

One of the Scriptures that the Lord has quickened to me for this year is Psalm 112. I believe it is a prophetic Scripture for us as we press in for an outpouring of God's glory to invade our homes, our churches and our nation this year. I have adapted this Psalm into a Confession that I encourage each of you to begin to declare His Word daily - confessing the truth and promises over yourself and your family, your finances, your job, your relationships, your church and your nation daily.  There is power in the Word of God -- It is living and active; God's angels hearken to perform His Word; His Word will not return void!

Because I Fear the Lord and delight greatly in His Commandments,
I am a blessed Child of God.
My Children will be mighty in the earth, and my generations will be blessed.
Abundance will be in my house and my righteousness will endure forever.
I walk uprightly before the Lord and therefore my light will arise in darkness.
I overcome any confusion, and I have guidance from the Holy Spirit.
When I confront problems, I have wisdom and God's guidance to overcome all problems.
My personal, family and business affairs are guided by godly wisdom and counsel.
I have wisdom that is supernatural.
Because I am compassionate, giving and gracious; the favor of God follows me always.
Wherever I go, blessings find me. Surely I will not be moved.
I am not shaken by fear or circumstances because I keep the Lord forever in my remembrance.
I will not be afraid of evil tidings.
My heart is fixed. I trust in the Lord.
My heart is established. I will never fear.
The devil desires to defeat me, but he is defeated.
His desire will not come to pass over me. My desire comes to pass over him.
With God's anointing and power I will be victorious.
I have given to God's house. I have dispersed to the poor.
My horn is lifted up in anticipation of a great outpouring of God's blessing into my life.
The wicked gnash their teeth at me, they will melt away, and their desires shall perish.
