Weekly Focus: Protection for our Law Enforcement

Friday, November 3, 2017—This week we saw our law enforcement on the front lines of shielding our cities from terror in Manhattan. Thank the Lord for the men and women who daily put their lives on the line as they protect our citizens and keep order in our cities while we go about with our lives. Put a prayer shield over all of our police forces, first responders, and their families. Let us remember the families of those police officers who have been killed or injured in the line of duty. Pray that law enforcement services will have supernatural wisdom and insight to uncover and respond to threats of terror. Bind back the powers of anti-Christ, terror, and every spirit of the thief, robber, and destroyer that would threaten our nation, and put our law-enforcement in harm’s way. Thank the Lord for His divine protection and blessing for our nation.
Continue to pray for those who lost loved ones or were injured in Tuesday’s terror attack in Manhattan. We ask the Lord to comfort those who are mourning and pray for healing for those injured.

Psalm 91: 4, 11, “He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler… For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

Psalm 27:1-5, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet] I will be confident. One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord    all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple. For He will hide me in His shelter in the day of trouble; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will lift me high upon a rock.”

Ephesians 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Jeremiah 29:7, “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”
