“Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? …rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against His Anointed… He shall speak to them in His wrath, “I have] set My King on My holy hill of Zion…I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.”
 
From the moment He began His earthly ministry Jesus said, “The kingdom of God has come to you.” When He prayed, “Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven…” He wasn’t referring only to His return to earth in the future. This week 56 nations paraded before the UN International Court of Justice demanding Israel unilaterally ceasefire in Gaza, embrace a “two state solution,” and divide Jerusalem as capitol between them. Our watch prayer is in agreement with heaven’s pronouncements against nations who oppose Israel’s sovereign security with Jerusalem as its undivided capital.

According to Psalm 2:

• We affirm Jesus is Sovereign King of the whole earth.
• We bind the power of earthly kings and judges, and demonic rulers and princes, all working to throw off the rule and will of Christ.
• We loose God’s judgments toward every plot that is set against God’s inheritance and plan.
• We “Amen” His claim of possession of nations, including America, and Israel, with Jerusalem as its undivided capital.
• We ascend together in worship with thanksgiving, positioning ourselves in the presence of Christ before His judgment seat and speak “Peace” according to Psalm 122: 

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.” Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem! Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together, where the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, to the Testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of the Lord. For thrones are set there for judgment, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.
Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.”  For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good.

For the sake of our families and nations we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and we press in prayer for the immediate rescue of every hostage being held in Gaza!

From the watch in South Carolina we pray for the primary election to be held here on Saturday:

• We pray for an honest, fair, and free, election.
• We pray discernment, wisdom, and the fear of the Lord to encounter every person voting. We ask the Lord to raise up the person He chooses and close every other door.
