Watch Focus: Move this MOUNTAIN

Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:22-24 

Dueling Presidential conventions have wrapped up. The headliner for the RNC had just survived an assassination attempt. The rhetoric coming from DNC focused lightly on policy and heavily on fear and rage towards the Republican candidate. The Chicago Sun ran this: “Planned Parenthood Great Rivers from downstate Illinois offered something unique this week during the Democratic National Convention: free vasectomies and medication abortion — from a parking lot.” 
 
Our watch focus this week:  
Loose the two-edged sword of Christ declared by His word. 
Bind the power of liars to seduce the electorate.  
Break the altars of ritual child sacrifice through abortion in America. 
Break the pattern and curse of immorality, singleness, and barrenness among Christians. 
Loose a spirit of covenant marriage between heterosexual couples.   

Revelation 19:15:  Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron.  

Psalm 144: Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle--my lovingkindness and my fortress, my high tower and my deliverer, my shield and the One in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me. …. Bow down Your heavens, O Lord, and come down; touch the mountains, and they shall smoke. Flash forth lightning and scatter them; shoot out Your arrows and destroy them…. Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners, whose mouth speaks lying words, and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood—that our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as pillars, sculptured in palace style; that our barns may be full, supplying all kinds of produce; that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields; that our oxen may be well-laden; that there be no breaking in or going out; that there be no outcry in our streets. Happy are the people who are in such a state; happy are the people whose God is the Lord! 

Isaiah 28:14-18: Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, because you have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.” Therefore, thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily. Also, I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet; the hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place. Your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand; when the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it.  
 
Of 183 nations, only Switzerland is not underwater financially due to nations’ government spending above their Gross National Product. A significant bank failure can trigger a global domino effect. In America, three factors signaling recession within the year are in place: short term Treasury rates (currently 5.2) higher than long term (currently 3.9); unemployment rate of 4.3%, a .5 rise in 3 months, on the largest downward revision in fifteen years; rate cuts by the Federal Reserve which are “overdue” and expected by September 18. The annual global economic summit of central banks in Jackson Hole wrapped today with remarks from Fed Chair Powell declaring expected rate cuts. 
 
Our watch focus this week: 
The mountain of impending economic trouble to be moved out of the way. 
Overflowing provision to come into the household of faith.  

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.  As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.”  Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 2 Corinthians 9:8-11 
 
RAISE UP THIS MOUNTAIN!!  
“…behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome…. you watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. Daniel 2:34-35 
 
Our watch focus this week: 
Visitation by the Holy Spirit bringing the fear of the Lord and return to truth to sweep the nation and break down altars of idolatry. 
A revival of the gospel preached in power with salvation in the name of Jesus and the kingdom of God established in the hearts of Americans.   

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:2-3
