WATCH FOCUS Sept. 25^th Provision, Protection & Rivers of Living Water

This week from the Watch of the Lord we honor our root praying blessing and continued protection for Israel and the Jewish people in America and the nations as they celebrate The Feast of Tabernacles, also known as Sukkot or The Feast of Booths.

We join with the Jewish people in great rejoicing according to Deuteronomy 16:13-15, “You shall observe the Feast of Tabernacles seven days, when you have gathered from your threshing floor and from your winepress. And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant and the Levite, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, who are within your gates. Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord chooses, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice.”

We give thanks for God’s gracious provision for us and our nation. We pray the Lord continues to bless ‘our produce’ and all the work of our hands. We pray for economic solutions and policy to flood and bless our land.

We pray for America, Charlotte and our cities to continue in peace and prosperity according to Jeremiah 29:7, “Seek the prosperity of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord in its behalf; for in its prosperity will be your prosperity.”

As the Lord protected the Jewish people through the wilderness we pray and exercise faith for continued deliverance from all evil for us, our families, churches, ministries, cities, region and nation. We echo the Lord’s prayer, “deliver us from evil.”

As the Lord guided His people with a cloud by day and fire by night, we pray the Church has fresh and clear leading from the Holy Spirit in fulfilling the Great Commission in America and the Nations in our times and culture.

On the last day, that great day of the Feast of Tabernacles Jesus ‘cried out’ in John 7:37-38, “…..If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.”

We pray for a harvest of new believers across the nations with rivers of living water flowing from their innermost beings. Lord, we bring to your remembrance that through Abraham all the nations of the earth will be blessed!

We pray the Church is delivered from all legalisms, experiencing the fullness of the Holy Spirit and New Covenant. We pray for deliverance from every false doctrine.

Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Genesis 22:18, “In your (Abraham’s) seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

Zechariah 14:16, “And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.”
